Switches

A switch is an inevitable component in any design.  From dip switches, encoder switches, and pushbutton switches to rocker switches, rotary switches, and slide switches.

Detect

Detect

Detect switches are switches that help in detecting the position or presence of objects. They are suitable to use in many applications, like automobiles, telecommunications, appliances, computers, instrumentation equipment and more.

Dip Switch

Dip Switch

DIP switches are small switches that come in dual in-line package and can be mounted to a circuit board directly. We offer DPDT, DPST, SPDT, SPST and many other combinations of DIP switches that are categorized based on circuitry.

Encoder Switch

Encoder Switch

Encoder switches act as position sensor that determine the position of a rotating shaft. Highly durable, these switches are used in consumer electronics, navigations systems, elevators, test equipment and more.

Key

Key

A key switch is an important electrical component that can be actuated only by using a key. Ideal for use in expensive or risky manufacturing settings, key switches add an extra layer of safety by not activating the machinery when a wrong key is used. This feature ensures accidental activation of hazardous equipment.

Pushbutton

Pushbutton

Push-button switches work on simple electric mechanism to activate or deactivate machinery. A push-button can push-to-make or push-to break (SPST Momentary Switch), where it makes, or breaks contact with an electronic system. Industrial machinery or household devices like calculators and kitchen appliances, push-button switches fit specific needs perfectly.

Rocker

Rocker

Used mainly to power devices directly up to 20 amps, rocker switches are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. They got their name due to their seesaw-like mechanism with one end of the switch raised and the other end lowered.

Rotary

Rotary

Rotary switches are a great way to connect two or more electrical circuits. They deliver greater pole and throw capabilities, making them ideal for radio frequency selection, voice and data communication, entertainment systems, automatic climate control and other applications.

Slide

Slide

Slide switches move from an open position to a closed position to enable the flow of current, thereby eliminating the need to splice a wire. Widely used in consumer electronics, they’re of two major types namely DPDT and SPDT slide switches. We offer PCB slide switches, 2-position, 3-position and 4-position slide switches, SMT slide switches and more.

Snap Acting

Snap Acting

We offer a wide variety of snap-action switches that are perfect for easy and smooth maintenance of your equipment. Since they open or close an electrical circuit in no time, snap-action micro switches are used in home appliances, safety equipment, industrial machinery and other applications involving a valve that opens and/or shuts to perform specific functions.

Tactile

Tactile

Used mainly on PCBs to close an electrical circuit, tactile switches turn on only when a certain amount of pressure is applied. You can find illuminated, surface mount, hinged and sealed tactile switches that are ideal for use in low-power devices that require operator feedback for proper functioning.

Toggle

Toggle

Ideal for use in commercial and industrial settings, toggle switches open or close an electric circuit using a lever. Toggle switches come in a variety of sizes and handle various current loads. We offer the major types namely SPST, SPDT, DPST and DPDT toggle switches to connect one or more terminals accordingly.
